Larry's Journal: Processing

Sunday, April 9

Sometimes I wish that when I sit infront of my computer my fingers will just begin to move on their own and I will begin to write something very profound. But what I have discovered is that anything that is usaully put on a blog is just the plain ramblings of someone who is just finding their way into truth. This processs is a very healthy one though . It starts the process of mining the heart of the mystery of life and meaning.

I was reading in Eph today and was struck by all the language the Apostle Paul wrote in his blog to the Ephesian church( I am in no way trying to belittle scripture by comparing it to a blog) Chapter 1 is full of statements like 'blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ" "In love he[c] predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will" "And he[d] made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ" "predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will" "Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory."

With all of this language being thrown at you it hard to believe how God is not for us. He is so FOR us. I am overcomed by how he pursues me His actions are towards us and will is for us to be close to Him and for us to know who He has created us to be. That all I have to say about that. For now
